The lakeshore area showed up big to help Paws up Pet Rescue.
The Sheboygan organization was the beneficiary of the annual Seehafer Broadcasting Christmas collection drive, and we now have the numbers.
A total of 11 beds were donated for both dogs and cats, along with over 170 pounds of dry food, and over 35 cans of canned food plus treats.
Toys, litter, and bowls were also donated, along with several reams of copy paper, cleaning supplies, blankets, and crocheted scarves.
Donors also contributed $755 in cash and Fleet Farm Gift Cards along with a large number of stamps.
Deanna Russ, the Vice President of Paws Up Pet Rescue, picked up the donations yesterday morning with her daughter, and she told us, “I am completely taken aback by the amount, and the generosity of the people that brought stuff to support my rescue, and the dogs and cats that we help.”
