
More nomination paperwork has been returned for two local City Council races.
Starting in Two Rivers, a total of seven people have taken out paperwork from the City Clerk’s office, but only two have returned them.
Last week we reported that Dean LaRose threw his hat into the ring, and since then, Council President Adam Wachowski has officially declared his intent to run again.
Council Vice-President Darla LeClair, and Council Member Bonnie Shimulunas’s seats are also up for grabs.
In Manitowoc, District 7 Alderman Tim Boldt has returned his paperwork.
He will be running against Brian Anderson, while Alderman Brett Vanderkin and Raymond Geigel will battle for the District 1 seat.
Also, District 10 Alderman Todd Reckelberg and District 2 Alderman Chad Beeman have also turned in their paperwork.
The only incumbent yet to officially declare for next April’s election is Michael Cummings in District 3.
Those looking to run must return their paperwork by no later than 5:00 p.m. on January 3rd.
