There are two governmental entities scheduled to hold meetings today in Manitowoc County.
First up is the Personnel Committee, which will gather at 5:15 p.m. in the Heritage Center.
They will give the public time to comment before discussing the possibility of a vacation extension for a Human Services Employee.
Then, at 5:30 p.m., the County Board of Supervisors will gather in the County Board Room to hold an open meeting training session.
Their regular meeting will follow at 6:00 p.m., where County Executive Bob Ziegelbauer and Board Chair Tyler Martell will proclaim January as Mentoring Month for Big Brothers Big Sisters.
The Board will also look over numerous petitions for bridge work around the county before approving the purchase of the former Lakeside Foods office building on Hamilton Street.
These are the final meetings for the week in Manitowoc County.
