While the prices of food and utilities is going up, the price at the pump in Eastern Wisconsin is at its lowest point in over a year and a half.
According to the AAA Gas Prices website, the average price per gallon of fuel in Manitowoc County is down 14 cents to $2.75.
Since we began tracking local gas prices last May, Manitowoc’s gas price has not been that low.
Meanwhile, in Sheboygan County, the average price only dipped one cent to $2,68, while the same decline was reported in Calumet County where the average price it at $2.69.
Outagamie County is reporting a 12-cent decline to $2.54 while Brown County is down 10 cents to $2.71.
Kewaunee County’s average is down six cents to $2.75, and Door County is down 3 cents to $2.80.
The state average fell five cents to $2.78 while the national average has yet to break the $3.00 mark despite a 12-cent dip.
It is currently sitting at $3.12 per gallon.
