A spokesman for the FORWARD Endowment said there are less than two weeks left on submitting grant applications for 2022.
Dean Halverson is Chairman of the Gift Committee for Friends of Resources, Wildlife, and Recreational Development, founded by the Manitowoc Unit of County Fish & Game.
Halverson said that FORWARD has approximately $4,000 in total funding available for this giving cycle and they’ll accept grant applications through December 31st.
Both hard projects and related education programs are eligible for grants.
The group has automated the applications, which are available at mantyfg.org.
The actual selection of grants will be made at the Gift Committee’s meeting in March of 2023.
The FORWARD Endowment trust, which is managed by Associated Bank, has provided more than $138,000 in grant money to projects and groups in Manitowoc County.
