Authorities are investigating a fire at a home just west of Madison.
The Cross Plains Fire Department responded to the blaze yesterday afternoon, and with the help of other departments, was able to put the fire out.
Firefighters explained the winter weather made fighting the flames more difficult.
Luckily, nobody was inside the home at the time and there were no injuries.
