
In State Men’s College Basketball Saturday, Lakeland University outlasted Milwaukee School of Engineering 97-89 in overtime.
The Muskies, now 7 and 3 overall, 2-and-2 in the NACC, trailed at halftime 43-29 before rallying to tie it at the end of regulation.
The visitors then outscored MSOE 19-to-11 in the extra session to walk away with the win.
Former Manitowoc Lincoln standout Mason Dopirak had a double-double in a losing effort with 20 points and 10 rebounds.
His younger brother, Matus, chipped in 14 points and 7 ‘boards for the Raiders, 5-and-4, 2-and-2 in conference.
MSOE begins a two-game road trip in Southern California starting on Wednesday, December 28th when they face Occidental College in Los Angeles in a 7:00 p.m. central time tipoff.
