25th Assembly District Representative Paul Tittl was named Chair of the State Assembly Committee on Mental Health and Substance Abuse yesterday by Speaker Robin Vos.
This marks the 5th consecutive legislative session that the Manitowoc Republican will chair this committee, created to build on the work of Speaker Vos’ Task Force on Mental Health.
Tittl says of his selection “It’s exciting to see how far this committee has come and I will continue to prioritize mental health reform in Wisconsin as it is an overwhelming problem especially facing our youth.”
In addition, the local legislator will serve another term as Vice Chair of the Sporting Heritage Committee and as a member of the Committee on Veterans and Military Affairs, the Committee on Forestry, Parks and Recreation, and the Committee on Corrections.
Tittl has also been added as a member of The Committee on Campaigns and Elections along with serving on the Committee on Energy and Utilities.
Tittl adds “I’m excited for the opportunity to accomplish a lot of good things and I can’t wait for the session to get started.”
The next legislative session begins January 3rd.
