
Freshman guard Mason Dopirak poured in a game-high 23 points last night during Milwaukee School of Engineering’s come-from-behind win over UW-Stevens Point.
The Raiders prevailed over the Pointers 73-64 in their nonconference home matchup, despite trailing again at halftime 39-33.
Dopirak, who prepped at Manitowoc Lincoln, added 4 rebounds and 3 assists as MSOE improved its season record to 5-and-3.
The Raiders are scheduled to host Lakeland University in NACC action Saturday afternoon in a 2:00 p.m. tip.
Meanwhile, Mason has also been named Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Men’s Basketball Student-Athlete of the Week for December 5th through the 11th.
Mason scored 36 and 24 points in victories over Concordia Wisconsin and Benedictine University.
He also averaged 9 rebounds and 5 and a half assists and leads the conference in scoring at nearly 22 points per game.
