Jordan J. Leavy-Carter
The 35-year-old Green Bay man who is facing charges in connection to the death of a 5-year-old girl has been bound over for trial.
That decision was reached while Jordan Leavy-Carter was in court last week Friday.
Being bound over for trial means that the court has found probable cause to charge the defendant with a felony, and this case the charges are 2nd Degree Reckless Homicide, Neglecting a Child Resulting in Death, and Possessing a Firearm as a convicted Felon.
Leavy-Carter was arrested after Skye Blue Evans-Cowley was accidentally shot by her cousin, who was reportedly playing with a gun given to her by Leavy-Carter.
He is due back in court for his arraignment on January 9th.
