
Manitowoc Lincoln grads Mason and Matus Dopirak were two of four players in double figures Saturday when the MSOE Raiders rallied in the second half to defeat Benedictine University 85-to-80 in Lisle, Illinois.
Mason took team scoring honors with 24 points, including 8 for 8 from the free throw line, and contributed 8 rebounds and 6 assists.
Dopirak’s young brother Matus added 12 points before fouling out of the game.
The Raiders trailed at halftime 48-34 before outscoring the host Eagles 51-32 in the second half.
MSOE, now 4 and 3 overall, 2-and-1 in the NACC are scheduled to host UW-Stevens Point at Hotchkin Area in Milwaukee Wednesday night.
