Froedtert Holy Family Memorial Hospital Registered Nurse Tina Last has been named the winner of the DAISY Award.
The DAISY, or Diseases Attacking the Immune System, Award is an international recognition program that honors and celebrates the skillful, compassionate care nurses.
Charity Romero, a fellow RN, nominated Tina for the Award.
In her nomination, Charity stated, “Tina has done many great things for me as the family member of a patient and for my patients in the Women’s and Children’s Unit at Froedtert Holy Family Memorial Hospital. She makes her patients feel like they are the only ones who are important to her when she is caring for them, even when she is busy at work. Tina is truly an angel in scrubs.”
Tina is a hospital nursing supervisor, a charge nurse in the Medical/Surgical Unit, and works in the Wound Clinic.
