The Wisconsin Maritime Museum in Manitowoc is ready for the holiday season and will be hosting an event on Saturday.
The Annual Christmas Tree Ship Day will kick off at 9:30 a.m., with the Sub Pub opening up 15 minutes later to sell hot chocolate and coffee.
Then at 10:00, as Museum Development Coordinator Emily Shedal explains, it’s the main event.
“Suzie Q Fish Tug will be bringing in some Christmas Trees, as the Rouse Simmons used to many years ago,” she told Seehafer News. “They will be dropping off Christmas Trees in the morning along with Santa Claus.”
Santa will be on hand for a few hours meeting local children and families.
While Santa will be the main attraction, this event is the perfect opportunity to enjoy the entire museum.
“We have free admission all day long,” she revealed. “We have some crafts going on as well, and we have our sip and shop holiday market going on. This is the second year we are having that type of thing, and it will be in the Riverview Room.”
