The City of Manitowoc is looking for someone to fill a position on the Manitowoc Public Utilities Commission.
According to the Finance Committee Chairman and Alderman Jim Brey, the Commission needs another individual to fill the remainder of a five-year term which was previously filled by former commissioner Dave Luckow.
The term will run from the official election of the new commissioner until September 30th, 2025.
Brey explained to Seehafer News that the Finance Committee makes a recommendation to the entire Common Council, and a Common Council election will be held to officially name the new commissioner.
People who are interested in serving should submit a letter of interest and a short resume to the Manitowoc City Clerk’s Office by 4:30 p.m. on December 28th.
If you have any questions, please contact Alderman Brey at 920-682-9713 or the City Clerk’s office at 920-686-6950.
