A Green Bay Man has been charged following an incident outside of a bar.
Officers were sent to Someplace Else, located on University Avenue, early Sunday evening after a witness reported that 20-year-old Donovan Olson had threatened someone and was kicked out of the bar.
Police reports indicate Olson waited outside the bar in his car, and when approached by a friend of the individual he was arguing with, Olson slammed his SUV into the building.
Olson’s girlfriend, who was also at the bar, told police he was driving the car.
Olson was seen Monday running through a red light, and a chase ensued.
Olson ended up crashing his SUV, and fled on foot, along with 2 other unknown individuals.
Olson was quickly caught and has been charged with 1st Degree Recklessly Endangering Safety by Use of a Dangerous Weapon, Hit and Run Involving Injury, Disorderly Conduct, and Resisting or Obstructing an Officer.
He could receive more than 12 years in prison if convicted.
