Police and Fire personnel were called into action yesterday in Green Bay after a gas leak was reported.
The incident occurred at a condemned home in the 500 block of Edgewood Drive at around 4:30 p.m.
Neighbors were advised to leave the area immediately, and the streets were closed off. Crews from Wisconsin Public Service were called to the scene, where they reported a significant reading of gas coming from the home.
A 63-year-old man was found to be inside, but he exited on his own accord according to police reports.
The leak is believed to have been coming from an unlit gas stove, and the scene was cleared at around 7:00 p.m.
