A 69-year-old Sheboygan man is dead following a hit and run last night following the Sheboygan Holiday Parade.
Officers with the Sheboygan Police Department were sent to the intersection of North 9th Street and New York Avenue at 6:20 p.m. where they found the victim.
He was taken to Theda Care Hospital in Neenah, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
The vehicle involved was located at a south-side apartment complex, and the 20-year-old male driver admitted to hitting the man and fleeing the scene.
The yet unidentified man was arrested on a charge of Hit and Run Causing Death. Sheboygan Police say there is no indication this was an intentional act.
