The Wednesday before Thanksgiving is traditionally the busiest night of the year for Wisconsin bars and taverns.
For many, it’s a night to reconnect with old friends before spending tomorrow with their family. And Deputy Brad Tatro with the Marathon County Sheriff’s Office says if that is your plan, make sure you know how you’re getting home safely before ordering your first round.
Tatro says if need be, get the bartender involved on your plan as well. Let them know who the designated driver is so they know not to serve that person alcohol.
