Wisconsin Manufacturers & Commerce (WMC) has presented Senator André Jacque and Senator Devin LeMahieu with a Working for Wisconsin Award for their work during the most recent legislative session.
The Working for Wisconsin Award recognizes legislators who supported specific pro-growth policies and earned a high rating on WMC’s biennial legislative scorecard.
On that scorecard, Sen. Jacque is listed as voting in favor of all 23 bills that supported “specific pro-growth policies” while LeMahieu voted in favor of all 26 he was a part of.
Other area legislators to earn high marks were Robert Cowles and Eric Wimberger, both of Green Bay, and Roger Roth of Appleton.
In a news release, the WMC stated, “All Wisconsin legislators are considered for the award, but it is only earned by those who consistently vote to make Wisconsin a better place to do business.”
