A man is facing charges after he allegedly used a knife to force a teen to perform sexual acts.
An officer with the Manitowoc Police Department was sent to a local high school yesterday (November 16th) to hear from the victim.
They explained that they and a friend were picked up at the friend’s house by the 18-year-old man.
He took the duo to Lower Henry Schuette Park, where he pulled out a knife, took their phones, and demanded the friend get into the back seat.
He then forced the teen to perform sexual acts.
The story was corroborated by the witness, and the man was taken into custody, but he claimed the interaction was consensual.
He admitted to handling a knife but said he never threatened either of the victims.
He has been charged with 1st Degree Sexual Assault of a Child Victim with a Dangerous Weapon, two counts of 2nd Degree Recklessly Endangering Safety, and two counts of False Imprisonment.
