In Girls High School Basketball last night, Manitowoc Lutheran had a successful opening night as the Lancers cruised to a 66-to-26 victory over visiting Green Bay N.E.W. Lutheran.
The Lancers of Coach Mike Behnke displayed balanced scoring with 5 players scoring 8 points or more.
Leading three Lancers in double digits was Marissa Mehlhorn with 15 points, followed by her sister Mallory with 11, and Ginevra Ermis chipped in 10 points.
The host team enjoyed a comfortable 44-17 lead at halftime.
