
Federal labor officials are seeking a temporary injunction against a leading provider of food-safety sanitation.
Authorities say the feds are seeking a temporary injunction against Packers Sanitation Services after investigators determined that the company had placed more than 30 children ages 13 to 17 in hazardous occupations at meat-processing plants in Nebraska and Minnesota.
The Wisconsin-based company reportedly is also accused of intimidating the teens to keep them from cooperating with investigators.
