Congressman Glenn Grothman had what was probably his most relaxing election night, as he ran unopposed for the 6th District Congressional seat.
We asked him how it feels to be brought back for his 9th and 10th years in office.
“Oh it feels really good. Feels like I just got here yesterday,” he stated. “Unfortunately, some of the things we wanted to accomplish have not been accomplished yet. Largely, that is going to be almost impossible with President Biden in there.”
He then made a major announcement regarding his future during last night’s America Decides, Campaign ’22 coverage on 107.9 FM WOMT.
“I’ll announce right here, I am going to run for another term,” he revealed. “I would like to help get a more conservative president in there. A president who is going to take the border seriously. A president who is going to take the debt seriously. A president who is not going to push all this ‘woke’, racist racist America stuff.”
The House was rather split in Wisconsin yesterday, with Democrats Mark Pocan and Gwen Moore retaining their seats, as did Republicans Bryan Steil, Scott Fitzgerald, Tom Tiffany, and Mike Gallagher.
The District 3 race between Derrick Van Orden and Brad Pfaff has not yet been called.
