Doors are now open at voting locations around the state for the Midterm Election.
There are numerous statewide races on the ballot, that have been covered to excess, but there are also a few referendums on local ballots.
We have previously covered the referendum put forth by the Two Rivers School District, however, there are two questions on ballots in both Denmark and Howards Grove.
The Denmark School District is asking for an extra $925,000 a year through the 2025-2026 school year for non-recurring purposes, and an additional $31 million for the purpose of paying the cost of a school building and facility improvement project.
The Howards Grove School District is asking for $39.8 million for the cost of a school building and facility improvement project, and another $2.9 million for the purpose of paying the cost of renovating, improving, and equipping the High School gymnasium and certain athletic fields and facilities.
You can click here to read the full referendum questions for all three school districts, and questions in the Towns of Gibson, Kossuth, and Schleswig.
The polls will close at 8:00 this evening, after which Rick Sawyer and Brian Norton will be joined by Paul Tittl and Chris Able on 107.9 FM WOMT as they report the numbers as they come in.
We will also be updating the Election Results page online all night as well.
