A fire in Green Bay last night has left eight people without a home.
Fire crews were sent to an apartment complex on Leeland Street at around 6:35 p.m. after multiple witnesses reported seeing smoke coming from an apartment.
A total of five engines, two ladder trucks, and several other pieces of equipment were requested, and crews brought the fire under control in about 10 minutes.
The fire damage was limited to the source apartment and the hallway, however water damage was reported in the apartment below.
Eight people were displaced, but no injuries were reported.
The cause of the fire is not known at this time, but we do know it caused an estimated $30,000 in damage.
