There are two meetings scheduled to start the week in the City of Two Rivers.
First up is the Committee on Aging, which will convene at 8:30 this morning in the Senior Center Library.
After receiving input from the public, the group will receive their regular committee reports.
Then, at 6:00 p.m., the City Council will gather in the Council Chambers.
They will start with a moment of silence in honor of former Council member David L. Tice Sr., who passed away on October 17th.
Tice served on the Council in 2004 and 2005.
Then there will be a public hearing regarding the adoption of the 20-year Comprehensive Plan before the council gets an overview of the 2023 City Budget.
They will also enter a closed session where they will review the proposed purchase of the former Eggers Industries site in downtown Two Rivers by YBR Properties LLC.
