Some more details have come out about the man who is accused of starting a fire at a Door County supper club.
33-year-old Jonathan J. Polich is facing two counts of Arson of a Building after reportedly starting Mr. G’s Supper Club on fire last month.
It is being reported that the supper club owner’s son had been friends with Polich in high school but hadn’t talked with him in years.
Then, back in August, he started getting text messages from him, which turned into death threats and requesting money.
Polich also allegedly drove to the victim’s last known address in Milwaukee multiple times, and the police were called each time.
It all culminated on October 23rd, when Polich called the victim a psychopath and accused him of trying to kill him with “mind reading technology”.
That night, the fire was started.
Polich is being held in the Door County Jail on a $250,000 cash bond.
