Acuity Insurance has announced the promotion of seven individuals.
Tanya Arentsen is promoted to Senior Commercial Underwriter. Tanya joined Acuity in June 2016 as a Commercial Underwriter. Tanya earned her bachelor’s degree in sociology human services from St. Norbert College and an urban education teaching license from Cardinal Stritch University. She is actively working toward earning her Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) insurance designation. Tanya resides in Oostburg, Wisconsin.
Kayla Knauer is promoted to Manager – Commercial Underwriting. Kayla joined Acuity in June 2012 as a Commercial Underwriter and was promoted to Senior Commercial Underwriter in July 2018. She earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Wisconsin-Stout with an emphasis in event planning. Kayla resides in Glenbeulah, Wisconsin.
Sam Leinon is promoted to Senior Commercial Underwriter. Sam started his Acuity career in June 2017 as a Commercial Underwriter. He graduated with a degree in risk management and insurance from Butler University. Sam also holds the Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) professional designation. He resides in Plymouth, Wisconsin.
Kevin Pickhard is promoted to Senior Commercial Field Underwriter. Kevin joined Acuity in October 2010 as a Business Analyst, transferred to Commercial Underwriting in 2012, and was promoted to Commercial Field Underwriter in 2018. He earned his bachelor’s degree in economics and business from Cornell College. Kevin also holds the Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU), Associate in Commercial Underwriting (AU), Associate in Commercial Underwriting-Management (AU-M), and Associate in General Insurance (AINS) professional designations. He resides in Fargo, North Dakota.
Laura Pierce is promoted to Senior Commercial Field Underwriter. Laura started her Acuity career in January 2013 as a Commercial Underwriter and was promoted to Commercial Field Underwriter in 2017. She earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh with a major in human resource management and a minor in wellness promotion. Laura also holds the Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU), Associate in Commercial Underwriting (AU), and Associate in Commercial Underwriting-Management (AU-M) professional designations. She resides in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
Tracy Richards is promoted to Telephone Premium Auditor. Tracy joined Acuity in January 2006 as a Commercial Processor and was promoted to Inside Premium Auditor in January 2015. She resides in Oostburg, Wisconsin.
Amy Stout is promoted to Senior Field Premium Auditor. Amy started her Acuity career in August 2019 as a Field Premium Auditor. She studied pre-med at the University of Scranton and holds a life and health insurance license. Amy resides in Reading, Pennsylvania.
