A 33-year-old Sturgeon Bay man has been arrested after he allegedly started a supper club on fire.
The Jacksonport Fire Department was first on the scene of the fire at Mr. G’s Supper Club, located at 5890 Highway 57 in Sturgeon Bay.
They received a call reporting the fire at around 12:15 p.m. on October 23rd.
The rear deck and outside wall were reported to be engulfed in flames when crews arrived, and a nearby home was found to be damaged as well.
An investigation ensued, which led police to Jonathan. J. Polich.
He was taken into custody on Thursday and charged with two counts of Arson of a Building without the Owner’s Consent.
His bail has been set at $250,000 cash. Polich currently has three open cases in Door County including charges of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Stalking.
