It wasn’t just kids going door to door for Milwaukee’s trick-or-treat hours yesterday.
Teams from the state’s Department of Corrections also made the rounds.
The teams were checking on registered sex offenders.
Sex offenders are not allowed to participate in Halloween, the DOC teams were making sure that everyone on their list followed the rules.
DOC says of the 200 people they checked on, three were arrested.
