An investigation into a weekend shooting in Fond du Lac is underway.
Officers were called to the area of West Follett and North Macy Streets just before 11:00 Saturday evening.
Police reports indicate that a witness saw two vehicles fire rounds at each other.
One of the vehicles is believed to be a dark-colored SUV, and the other was a small light-colored car.
Both vehicles had fled the scene by the time police arrived, and no injured parties were located.
Investigating officers have reported finding an extended magazine for a handgun loaded with ammunition.
