Local professional wrestlers and some with national acclaim are looking to stomp out cancer with their show this evening.
The One Fall Entertainment show is being held at Laack’s Tavern and Banquet Hall in Sheboygan Falls, and for the second year in a row, proceeds will be going to the Pink Heals of Sheboygan County.
John Albright, the President of the Sheboygan County Pink Heals was on WOMT’s Sports Talk Monday night, and he explained that last year’s event came about thanks to his relationship with One Fall Entertainment’s Eric Tyler.
“Back in 2020, (Tyler) said ‘Hey, I want to do something for a non-profit and I want to choose your non-profit of Pink Heals,’” Albright explained. “So we got together last year, threw a couple of ideas around, and all of a sudden, wham, bam, boom, we had a wrestling show.”
The 2021 show ended up raising $7,000 for the organization thanks in part to the performances by ECW legends Tommy Dreamer and Rhyno.
Tyler said the show was a blast.
“We blew it out of the park,” he said. “The kids were having a blast, and everyone that was there supporting Pink Heals…they were all enjoying it and having a great time.”
This time around, OFE was able to secure even more names wrestling fans may have seen on their TV screens.
Tyler said that they were able to book “Al Snow…Gangrel, EC3, Sonny Kiss, and former NWA Women’s World Tag Team Champions, Marti Belle and Allysin Kay, The Hex.”
Doors open at 6:00 p.m. at Laack’s Tavern, located at W4302 County Road JM in Sheboygan Falls.
Our own Ryan Brahm will again be serving as a guest ring announcer for a couple of the matches.
