There is Regional semifinal tournament activity around the area this evening in Boys Soccer and Girls Volleyball.
Volleyball
Division-1
Manitowoc Lincoln, the state’s 6th ranked team and the #2 seed in its Sectional, opens the post-season against visiting Oshkosh North. That match between the Ships and Spartans will be an early start, at 5:00 this afternoon at the JFK Fieldhouse.
Elsewhere, #11 Sheboygan South travels to West Bend East and ’12-seed Sheboygan North visits Watertown to meet the Goslings.
Division-3
Manitowoc Lutheran, with a 4 seed, plays host to the Southern Door Eagles, #3 Valders is home for Brillion tonight, 2nd seeded Oostburg is hosting Sheboygan Area Lutheran and, the top-ranked team in state division-3, Howards Grove, meets Algoma in the Tigers’ gym.
Division-2
Matches include #6 Kiel on the road to play Fox Valley Lutheran and #10 Plymouth travels to the 2-seed, Luxemburg-Casco.
Boys Soccer
#9 Roncalli travels to 8th-seeded Green Bay N.E.W. Lutheran/Providence Academy, while top-seeded Sheboygan Christian/Lutheran will host the co-op of Howards Grove/Elkhart Lake Glenbeulah. Both D-4 matches are set to begin at 4:00 p.m.
Also, 3-seed Kiel battles Omro in a 7:00 o’clock start at Fifrick Field.
In one Division-3 match of local interest, Denmark travels to play the 2nd-seeded Plymouth Panthers this afternoon at 4:00 p.m.
