Mary Ann Philipps, age 91, lifetime resident of Two Rivers, currently residing at River’s Bend Health & Rehabilitation Center, entered eternal life Friday evening, October 14, 2022.
She is survived by three sons: Rick (Sharon) Philipps of Norman, Dave Philipps of Two Rivers, and Charlie (Cheryl) Philipps of the Town of Gibson; son-in-law, Jim Liebau of Maribel; eight grandchildren: Libbie (Sarkis) Wentland, Emma Philipps (husband, Matt Taylor), Nikole (Dirk) Gessler, Tyler (Kayla) Vits, Abigail Philipps (special friend, Matt Robertson), Andrew Philipps (fiance, Lori Thomason), April (Nick) Harding, and Rebecca Philipps (husband, Dave Steffen); and five great-grandchildren: Olivia, Justin & Addison Luedke; Addison Philipps, and Blair Harding. She is further survived by one sister, Ruth Karlin of Sheboygan; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Victor and Helen Buenzow; her husband, Gilbert “DoDo” Philipps; her daughter, Gail Liebau; one granddaughter, Denver Liebau; brother-in-law, Ralph Karlin; and in-laws: Richard (Betty) Gleichner, and Lorin “Pete” (Mary) Philipps.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, October 21, 2022 at St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church, 3201 Mishicot Rd., Two Rivers. Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial will be Rev. Dave Pleier, with burial to follow in Holy Cross Cemetery, Two Rivers.
The family will greet relatives and friends at St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church, Friday morning from 9:30 until 11:00 a.m. There will be no Thursday evening visitation.
