Gas prices in Eastern Wisconsin plummeted over the past week.
According to the AAA Gas Prices website, Manitowoc County saw a drop of 18 cents per gallon over the past 7 days and now averages $3.79.
Sheboygan County saw the smallest decline, dipping 14 cents to $3.79, while Calumet County’s average fell 22 cents to $3.69.
A 21-cent fall was reported in Outagamie County, where the average is now at $3.66, while Brown County’s fuel fell 24 cents to an average of $3.61 per gallon.
Kewaunee County motorists are breathing a sigh of relief as they are paying 26 cents less per gallon with an average of $3.65, and Door County reported the biggest drop, as their average of $3.73 is 29 cents less than last week.
The state average followed a similar trend, dipping 22 cents to $3.73, while the national average fell 5 cents to $3.87.
