***ORIGINAL STORY***
A 5-year-old girl was hospitalized last night (October 17th) following a shooting incident on Green Bay’s east side.
According to Green Bay Police, officers were sent to a weapons call in the 1600 block of Amy Street shortly before 5:00 p.m. for the report of a gunshot wound victim in need of medical attention.
The child was transported to a local hospital, but there was no update on the victim’s condition as of late Monday night.

Police say they’re looking to speak with a person of interest in the case and that individual is believed to be driving a dark green Mercury Milan sedan.
Authorities don’t believe there is an ongoing threat to the community and the investigation continues.
