Two meetings are on the calendar today (October 17th) in the City of Two Rivers.
First up is the Architectural Control Committee, which will gather in the Council Chambers at 10:00 this morning.
They will be reviewing plans for a single-family dwelling in the Sandy Bay Highlands.
Then at 6:00 this evening, the City Council will hold its regular meeting, which will also be held in the Council Chambers.
After hearing input from the public, City Manager Greg Buckley will congratulate the Two Rivers Raiders Football team, who just completed a perfect regular season, and claimed the school’s first EWC title in 32 years.
School Superintendent Diane Johnson will also be on hand to discuss the referendum that will be on the ballot in November.
The Council is also expected to pass the proposed change to the bicycle ordinance, which we previously reported on.
In a closed session, the Council will also review a proposed development agreement with YBR Properties, which is looking to develop the former Egger Industrial site.
