The pace of Manitowoc’s 2022 Leaf Pickup schedule is going to increase next Monday (October 17th) and will continue through November 18th, weather permitting.
Leaves are scheduled to be picked up once a week on your street sweeping day and the goal is to complete pickup in each section every week.
Depending on weather, volume of leaves, and equipment, there may be times when a section is not completed.
City officials ask residents to please be patient as leaves will be picked up the following week.
If your street has a parking lane, leaves should be placed in the street parking lane in front of your residence the evening before your street sweeping day.
If there’s no parking lane on your street, there is no change and leaves should continue to be placed on the terrace.
No brush or garden waste will be picked up.
Residents can take those materials to the Manitowoc County compost sites or contact a private hauler.
