
A Minnesota man has pleaded guilty to a shooting that took place earlier this year in Appleton.
With the guilty plea, 20-year-old Johnathan Yang was convicted on a charge of 1st Degree Reckless Injury.
The incident occurred on February 13th in the early morning hours.
Police reports indicate callers reported hearing gunshots, and that roughly 20 people were involved in a physical altercation.
The round fired by yang struck a 28-year-old Appleton man, who has since recovered from his injuries.
Yang is due back in court on December 12th, where he could be sentenced to up to 20 years in prison and 10 years of extended supervision.
Prosecutors will be recommending 12 years in prison as a part of the plea deal.
