Students and staff at UW Green Bay will be giving back to the community today.
This marks the second annual Day of Service, where all four campuses are being asked to give back to the communities they serve from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
There are numerous organizations that are hosting volunteers, including but not limited to the Jackie Nitschke Center, Sheboygan Habitat for Humanity, Family Services Sexual Assault Center, the NEW Zoo, Paul’s Pantry, and the Wisconsin Humane Society.
Last year, more than 500 members of the UW-Green Bay community participated, providing an estimated 2,000 hours of community service.
