Cheese lovers will be making their way throughout the downtown area of Manitowoc tomorrow evening as they participate in the second annual Curd Crawl put on by the United Way of Manitowoc County.
Participants will make their way to seven restaurants and will taste-test their cheese curds before voting on their favorites.
The entire event will kick off at the Fat Seagull, located at 807 Quay Street at 2:30 p.m.
Each wristband for participants costs $10, but as Ashly Bender from the United Way told us, you get more than just cheese curds.
“Wristbands do come with 10 free raffle tickets as well,” she said. “If you want to buy extra raffle tickets, we have those available as well.”
Wristbands and raffle tickets will also be available at the Fat Seagull on the day of the event.
As for which restaurants are participating, Bender says they are working with “Brix, Courthouse Pub, The Fat Seagull, Moore’s Irish Pub, Pizza Garden, The Wharf, and Wrap it Up.”
Wrap it Up is closing its doors at 6:00 p.m., so participants are asked to go there earlier to make sure they try their curds as well.
Votes will be cast as well to determine who is the Curd King of the Clipper City.
