Wasps are more likely to sting in late summer and early autumn.
Angel Avina, from Custom Health Pharmacy, was on WOMT’s Be My Guest program recently and suggested Redmond clay for those who’ve been stung by a wasp.
“100% you need to have this in the house,” she said. “You get that on right away, and that just pulls everything out.”
If you’re not able to apply the clay on the sting until later, Avina says Redmond Clay can still be helpful.
“We had a lady come in last week, and she had actually got bit the day before,” she explained. “I told her to make sure that clay was on nice and thick, and wrap it in saran wrap, and it will soothe that bite and that swelling.”
Avina added the Redmond clay is a must-have in your medicine cabinet.
She said if you have any questions, stop in at Custom Health in downtown Manitowoc.
