The Green Bay Area Public School District has its leader back.
Interim Superintendent Vicki Bayer returned to her post this week after suffering a heart attack during a school board meeting last month.
In a statement to those in the District, Bayer thanked everyone for their support as she recovered.
She said “I wish to extend my sincere gratitude for all the well-wishes from staff, families, students, and community members. The outpouring of kind words and support has meant a great deal while I focused on my recovery.”
