An Oshkosh man wanted by police has been taken into custody.
20-year-old Albert N. Smith is accused of taking a vehicle in the 800 block of North Main Street and was believed to be armed and dangerous.
According to police reports, on September 22nd, Smith approached a woman in a parked car, pulled a gun, and pointed it at the woman’s head.
A struggle ensued, and Smith struck the woman in the head with the gun before taking off in the vehicle.
The police report also says that Smith and the victim knew each other.
Details of his arrest have not been released.
