Mary Ann (Bronk) Marek, age 90, passed away on Monday, September 26, 2022, at Rennes Health & Rehabilitation in DePere, WI, where she had been a resident for the past 4 1/2 years.
Mary Ann is survived by her niece, goddaughter and caregiver, Clarice (Tom) Silbersack of Green Bay, WI; nephew and caregiver, Frank A. Ciha of Two Rivers, WI; niece, Cynthia L. (Daniel) Sook of DePere, WI; great-niece, Emily Sook of DePere; sister-in-law, Nancy (Mike) Wielmunester of Two Rivers; along with many other nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Emil and Pearl Bronk; her husband, Donald; her brother & sister-in-law, Alvin and Caroline Bronk; her sister & brother-in-law, Irene and Robert Ciha, Sr.; her sister, Lorraine Bronk; and her nephew, Robert “Robby” Ciha, Jr.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, September 30, 2022 at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church on Marshall, 2109 Marshall Street, Manitowoc. Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial will be Rev. Matt Colle, with burial to follow in Calvary Cemetery, Manitowoc.
The family will greet relatives and friends at St. Francis of Assisi – Marshall Site, Friday morning from 9:30 until 10:45 a.m. There will be no Thursday evening visitation.
