The Lakeshore Wind Ensemble is preparing to kick off its 39th concert season soon.
The first show of the season will be held on Saturday, October 15th at the Capitol Civic Center with a show they are dubbing “Music of the Masters/Oktoberfest.”
The first half will consist of a traditional wind ensemble repertoire and will feature Dr. Michael Forbes and his original works, “Day at Sea” and “Capriccio”.
The second half of the concert will make you want to pull out your lederhosen and polka.
They will entertain their audience with German and Czech classics like “Liechtensteiner Polka” and “Under the Double Eagle March.”
