Manitowoc Lincoln improved to 3-0 in FRCC Girls Volleyball with a 3-set sweep of Green Bay Southwest at JFK Fieldhouse.
The Ships, who are ranked #6 in the most recent State Coaches poll, received 13 and 12 kills from Nena Swoboda & Maddie York respectively, Grace Fruzen had 18 assists and Laurin Hamann chipped in 16 digs.
Also in the conference, Pulaski edged Sheboygan North 3-to-2 and De Pere ‘swept’ Sheboygan South.
In the EWC, Two Rivers swept it’s rival Roncalli 25-19, 25-18, and 25-18.
Raiders Coach Jeremy Otte tells us that senior Claire McGinty turned in a strong all-around performance with 10 assists, 8 kills, and 8 digs to go along with 4 service aces.
Senior Allyson Kakes added 12 kills and 22 digs and fellow senior Shelby Gulseth chipped in 13 assists & 7 digs to help the Raiders even their conference mark at 2-&-2.
