It appears as though Tom Brady will be without his top target in this Sunday’s game against the Green Bay Packers.
According to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, Tampa Bay Buccaneer wide receiver Mike Evans has been suspended for one game following a scuffle during their last game against the Saints.
Evans was ejected from the game after he knocked Saints cornerback Marshon Lattimore to the ground.
The NFL has stated that this action was a violation of the league’s unnecessary roughness and unsportsmanlike conduct rules.
Evans has been one of the Bucs top receivers since 2014, accumulating over 1,000 receiving yards each year over that stretch.
