Max Scherzer reaches a milestone and the New York Mets made the postseason, all at the expense of the Milwaukee Brewers.
Returning from a stint on the injured list, Scherzer tossed six innings of no-hit ball, striking out nine to lead the Mets to a 7-2 win over the Brewers.
Scherzer improved to 10-4 on the season and clinched his 200th career win.
New York clinched a spot in the postseason, but they’re still battling with Atlanta for the National League East division title.
