A Manitowoc man has been arrested after he was found to be in possession of child porn.
The investigation into the situation began on August 29th, after the Manitowoc Police Department received a cyber tip regarding seven videos that were uploaded from a computer in Manitowoc four months prior.
The videos were uploaded to a messaging app called Kik.
Officers executed a search warrant last week Thursday (September 15th), but the 20-year-old man denied knowing anything about the videos or having the Kik app.
Then, the next day, he admitted to locating, viewing, downloading, and re-uploading the videos onto the app.
He has been charged with one count of Possession of Child Pornography.
